The Rocky Patel Vintage 1990 line is a medium bodied smoke. This blend of rare aged tobacco has the perfect balance of flavor, complexity, and richness. A very smooth earthy smoke with notes of cedar and a light espresso flavor. In pursuit of the finest tobacco's the world has to offer, Rocky Patel uses this 12 year old Honduran Broadleaf wrapper along with a 5 year old filler and binder that will satisfy every smoker from novices to the most discriminating of aficionados.
You’ll be shocked that cigars of this caliber bring such a modest price tag.

Congratulations to Nick Perdomo, CEO of Tabacalera Perdomo, on his
election as a Councilman in his home town of Miami Lakes, FL (article). The town can look
forward to the application of a true entrepreneur's POV in solving the town's
problems, and a successful businessman's solutions being proposed.
Councilman ... Mayor ... State Senator ... hmmmmm ... who knows what the future
holds. But, in the meantime, here's hoping Nick keeps turning out cigars like
his Lot 23, Habano, and the new Patriarch.
Espinosa y Ortega, owners of 601 and Cubao, two (2) very hot brands that
are superb cigars made by ... guess who, the Maestro, Jose Pepin Garcia, have
concluded an agreement with Miami Cigar & Company, |

Philip G. Wynne Philip G. Wynne got his start in the cigar industry in 1990. It wasn't till
later that he became Felipe Gregorio, to provide his brand of cigars with that aura
of Hispanic 'ancestry.' Wynne is an American, raised largely abroad. There
is no history of tobacco growing and cigar making, for generations, in his
family tree.
Nonetheless, Felipe Gregorio carved a niche for itself in the annals of cigar
history and the tastes of sophisticated smokers.
Today, with a new Marketing Agreement with Nestor Miranda's Miami
Cigar & Company and his Casa Felipe on South West 8th Street in Miami
he begins a new era.
Wynne and I arranged to meet at Casa Felipe, and, over a couple of glasses of wine, some Serrano ham, chorizo and cheese, we discussed his background; his Company and his passion for cigars.

Red meat is big these days, especially with cigar smokers. And, any place
that has outdoor dining has my patronage; at least, once! Well, Prime Blue
Grille, a creation of 'expatriate' Smith & Wollensky executives has had it many,
many times. Dining on the terrace overlooking the entrance to the Miami River,
opposite Brickell Key, is dining at its best. And being greeted by Jamie
Zambrana, or any of his staff, is knowing hospitality at its best. |
